The Feast Day organisers are still looking for 'Festival Friends' to help out with the organisation and running of the event. I'm sure you are all aware that this event raises money for the good of Chalfont St Peter and takes months and months of effort by volunteers to make it happen. If you'd like to help or know someone who would please get in contact with volunteers@feastofstpeter.org.uk

Hi Everyone. The Feast Day team still need some help, these are the jobs currently up for grabs:
In the week or so before the event we need to deliver programmes around the village (6000 in all). It can be done in your own time. Please let me know if you are willing to help with this. Or if you know anyone else who can cover a road or two. We still need a few more helpers on the day. The vacant jobs are: Entrance from 15:00 - 16:00 to help Justine General bucket shaking on the day - any time Coconut Shy 15:00 - 16:00 Stage assistant 10:00 - 11 and 15:00 - 17:00 A second person on Coconut Shy / Stocks any time from 09:00 - 17:00 Any help setting up and clearing at the beginning and end of the day. If you can help with any of these tasks please email volunteers@feastofstpeter.org.uk, Thank-you! |

Hi,
Sorry to sound thick but what date is the feast day? I'll be happy to help out if I'm around, am relatively new to the village and would be nice to pitch in to some community stuff. Thanks, Nick |

It's a free country, adopt whatever PC stance you want. Just don't tell me which stance I should take just because it clashes with your opinion. |
