Looking at the area around GX I can't see any existing open space large enough to put a new town or city. Even an area such as Black Park would not be large enough.

How about, if you drew a line from Bull lane - behind Layters close- Leachcroft - to Welders lane. Then down Welders lane and streight through to Hedgley, then taking in Bulstode park back to Bull lane.... How much area do you want? |

It's a free country, adopt whatever PC stance you want. Just don't tell me which stance I should take just because it clashes with your opinion. |

Yes that area is large but it's hardly flat. It the side of a valley! Plus there is a railway line running through it. Although they could build one of them tunnels, they are a great success elsewhere.

What's flat got to do with it, plus it's not that hilly anyway.
Railway's run thru plenty of towns, some have rivers. |

They could stick a station on the HS2 like HS1 and Ashford.
Plenty of room if the whole of the South of the county is concreted over from CSP down.

That would be an extension of GX/CSP rather than a new city |
