I know I've not been at the Advertiser for nearly 10 months now... but I'm
still associated with it.. so I'll say.. bye bye.

Why?  Where are you going? Brighton maybe??

Whoops sorry - just read random mundane facts! Good Luck I'm sure you'll enjoy returning home - I went to Suffolk for 5 yrs & couldn't wait to get back to Chalfont. "There's no place like home. There's no place like home"

Yes I will be living in Brighton, with my lovely boyfriend Paul, much to the
delight of both our families, and of course.. ourselves.
Friends I've made up here 'in the north' (as my mother says) are already
trying to find out if we have a spare room.
We do.
It's full of Paul's stuff which really ought to be in a shed.
I mean.. who keeps a mortice drill in the back room?

I will still be in journalism.
I'll be a sub-editor on the Worthing Herald series.

To be honest Steve I doubt I'll be back. There's absolutely nothing to
bring me back up here to Bucks.

I'm sure I'll pop my nose into the forum though.

If any of the Advertiser lot look in.. this is me saying bye.
I popped in this morning, my car loaded with the last of my worldly goods, and the place was empty.. well apart from the new receptionist, Ben Steele and Tony Bell... oh and Julie Voyce once she returned from her meeting.

Good luck with your senior exams Mr Cross.
And bye Jill in sport, Brian in photographic and newbie Ben Smith.

I'm out of Bucks!
