Martin Baker played a crucial part in the Titan landing. They manufactured the descent control equipment and parachute.

Lots of Chalfontites have, and still do, worked there

i was told,now put me right on this, that the flats and council estate on tilehouse way was built because of martin baker.

 I do know that the private flats called "Green Tiles" by the Total garage were built by Alexander Korda for his workers at Denham Film Studios. He also had special trains running London - Denham just to bring in workers each morning.

I doubt the flats story is true . Remember, they are near the club house not the factory.

naaaaaaah!

Denham Green was a post war housing estate built I think around 1952, me mammy an pappy had a choice of Denham or Britwell!!!

they chose Denham!
