Yes, really!
Spotted earlier tonight on the R Misbourne between the bridge into the police compound and the bridge into the scout hut grounds.
First one I've seen in this area in the 20+ years I've been here.

The river is all but dry - doubtless my kingfisher has moved elsewhere.
Does anyone know why it's suddenly dried up now after running nicely for several years? |
