Get inspired, get writing, get published. The CHALFONT ST GILES & JORDANS LITERARY FESTIVAL is well under way, with some fascinating speakers and topics. Here's one event hosted by the festival that's free: a WRITERS' CAFE & POP-UP BOOK SHOP will be happening next Saturday morning, 21st May, from 1000 till 1pm in The Reading Room in Chalfont St Giles High Street (opp Warner's the butchers). Home made cakes and coffees & teas will be on sale and there will be books aplenty to browse and buy. 8 very friendly local authors will be on hand to chat informally with readers and would-be writers about writing and publishing etc. Most genres of books will be covered and admission is FREE. The Duck Pond Market will be on at the same time, on the green, so plenty of reasons to visit.
