It doesn't really matter; whether you say Grayhound or Greyhound, White Heart or White Hart, it all sounds the same.

I can just see a big image of a white heart swinging outside the pub.

is the old cottages oposite british legion hall still there it was  my grandfathers house, my father was born there, not the side facing Landsdown road  would appreciate a photo

I guess those must be the ones, not sure when the houses were built maybe 1920's ? but the british legion started life as a gaurge. be interesting what xpat says.
